Nurturing early growth through love and learning.

The Frog Street Curriculum Infant program (Birth – 18 months) focuses on the following domains: language development, cognitive, social and emotional, physical, and approaches toward learning. Building language development is critical at this age. Infants need to be surrounded by a language-rich environment filled with sounds, talking, stories being read, and songs being sung to help build language. Infants are so curious that this leads to the first cognitive function they learn: cause and effect. As our babies grow, we expand and explore curiosity, problem-solving, and creativity. This is something we will do throughout the day in every part of our schedule, from exploring the outdoors, art, centers, music, movement, and so much more. Social and emotional development is where our infants learn to develop attachment, trust, and social interactions. We support this domain through enhanced one-on-one interaction, cheerful tones, and gestures, and allow them to understand their emotions. We allow plenty of room in our classrooms and playgrounds for physical movement. We love to include music and movement to help build physical activity while supporting brain development.
